Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Modelwright website, and how you can manage your preferences.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work as expected, to remember your preferences, and to give the people who run the site useful information about how it is being used.

Cookies are not programs and cannot run code on your device. They simply store a small amount of text that your browser sends back to the website on each visit, helping the site recognise you and behave consistently.

The Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies Always Active

These cookies are needed for the website to function. They handle things like remembering your cookie preferences and enabling basic security. You cannot switch these off, but they do not collect personal information used for marketing.

Examples: cookie_consent (localStorage), session identifiers

Analytics Cookies

These help us understand how visitors move around the website — which pages are most useful, where people come from, and how long they stay. All data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors.

Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) — retained up to 26 months

Marketing Cookies

These are placed when we run advertising and allow us to understand whether an ad brought you here. They may be set by third-party advertising networks with their own privacy policies. These are off unless you enable them.

Examples: advertising platform pixels — retained up to 90 days

Preference Cookies

These remember choices you have made on the site — such as your region or display settings — so you do not have to re-enter them each visit.

Examples: locale, display preferences — retained up to 12 months

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our site are placed by third-party services we use. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:

  • Google Analytics — website usage analysis; Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Maps — map embeds on our contact section; governed by Google's terms
  • Advertising platforms — only if marketing cookies are enabled; varies by platform

Cookie Duration

  • Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (see each category above for typical durations)
  • localStorage items — stored in your browser until you clear site data; we use this only for your cookie preferences

Your Cookie Preferences

Adjust your preferences below. Changes take effect straight away and are stored in your browser. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are needed for the site to work.

On mobile browsers, cookie settings are typically found in the app's Settings or Privacy section, or in your device's main Settings under the browser app.

Your Rights & Control

You have the right to change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the preference controls above, or by clearing your browser's cookies and site data. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that happened before you withdrew it.

Disabling optional cookies will not prevent you from using the main features of the Modelwright website. Some minor personalization features may not work as expected without preference cookies.

For questions about how we use cookies or your personal data more broadly, please write to [email protected]. You can also review our full Privacy Policy.
